In partnership with Oregon Rises Above Hate, Lan Su Chinese Garden opens door to everyone on the third Wednesday of each month, June - September 2021. Guests enjoy free entry to the garden and cultural programs. Each #OpenDoorWednesday features one or more Asian or Pacific Islander cultural performance or presentation. Nanfang Music Club is a small group of musicians striving to increase public awareness on southern Chinese folk music. The music club provides full immersion, including traditional dressing and make up, and using traditional instruments, such as yang qin, erhu, etc. Nanfang has been active in the Portland community for the last decade, performing at various public festivals and community events, including the Chinese New Year Cultural Fair at Lloyd Center and Lan Su Chinese Garden.
