Portland artist Jen Fuller blends the contrasting aesthetics of glass and steel to create sculpture she refers to as "totems for the soul." Motivated by the technical challenges inherent in transforming materials with history into time based experiences, her work reflects the transparency and vulnerability found in humanity and nature. Fuller's recent work has been commissioned by Metro Regional Government, Ovation TV, The Society Hotel, OMSI, and private collectors.
From classical Chinese styles to contemporary work, Lan Su hosts several artists each year, from the Pacific Northwest and beyond, to show work in the pavilions of the garden.
Lan Su Chinese Garden is pleased to offer an Artist Membership for photographers and artists — professional and amateur alike. This yearly membership provides benefits created specifically for artists including additional access to Lan Su, the ability to sell photos and paintings of the garden and invitations to events tailored for an artist.
