Tai Chi Chuan is a graceful exercise and ancient martial art that gently builds strength and flexibility of the body, while enhancing balance and mental focus.
Yang Style Tai Chi takes place Thursday mornings at 10 AM year-round. While classes are subject to change without notice for unforeseen circumstances, please also check the event calendar for scheduled changes or cancellations.
Free with membership or admission, no registration required. Chinese New Year is the most popular time to visit the garden. Plan your visit by purchasing admission tickets ahead of time and by arriving early for your favorite activities.
Sifu Mark Parzynski, MAcOM, LAc, of The Tai Chi Life, has been studying martial arts for over 30 years and is a licensed acupuncturist. Mark has had the honor of studying Chinese Internal Martial Arts from several top instructors and received permission to teach from Sifu Gregory Fong in 2006.
Traditional lantern viewings close out Chinese New Year festivities when the garden glows with hanging red lanterns and the lake reflects the light of large illuminated lantern sculptures.
