Poetry is one of the five elements necessary for a comprehensive Chinese garden and is often presented in the form of calligraphic inscriptions.
Learn more about poetry and calligraphy in Chinese gardens with Lan Su docent Dan Huynh. Dan will also read from his book of poetry and imagery of Lan Su, Poetic Imageries. This talk will be followed by a Chinese Calligraphy Demonstration from 1 – 4 pm.
