Enjoy this rare opportunity to experience the sounds of classical and folk music performed by visiting musicians from Guangxi along side Portland's Wisdom Arts Academy ensemble. Three musicians from Guangxi, an autonomous region located in southern China, will perform in the Flowers Bathing in Spring Rain Pavilion. The performance will feature traditional Chinese instruments, the yang qin, dizhi and erhu, as well as the baowu and hulosi, performed by a master musician, Mo Lin.
Free with garden membership or admission; no registration required.
From classical Chinese styles to contemporary work, Lan Su hosts several artists each year, from the Pacific Northwest and beyond, to show work in the pavilions of the garden.
