Dan Huynh received his bachelor’s degree from the National Taiwan University and his master’s degree from the Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology in Indiana. Dan went on to become a registered professional engineer and certified vibration specialist. After retiring, Dan continued to assist providing vibration analysis to several major hydro-electric power plants (including the famous Three-Gorges plant in China). Dan now uses his skills to tune his friend’s pianos. In his free time, he is a free-lance writer, writing poems and prose for Chinese newspapers. Dan has been a Garden Docent at Lan Su since 2003.
