Window into a totally foreign garden
When is a garden not a garden? When it’s a Chinese garden. Introducing ways to see and understand Lan Su.

July 28 - 6:00 p.m.
Window into a faraway time & place
Why was Suzhou the birthplace of gardens like Lan Su during the Ming dynasty? Introducing the time and place that gave birth to this magnificent tradition.

August 25 - 6:00 p.m.
Window into wisdom traditions of China
6th century BCE philosophers Lao Tzu and Confucius launched 2,500 years of philosophy and tradition. Are they relevant today? Introducing Taoism and Confucianism present in Lan Su.
