Plum Blossom (梅花)

The plum blossom (Prunus mume) is one of China’s most iconic flowers, celebrated for over a millennium in art, poetry, and gardens. Blooming on bare branches in midwinter, it symbolizes resilience and hope. Its five petals represent the Five Blessings, and beyond ornament, plums are valued for fruit and balanced medicinal properties.
